David Stetson photography studio closing down sale in support of Tohoku

The famous photographer David Stetson (his work has included Sophia Loren, the late Princess Diana and Alfred Hitchcock) is leaving Japan and is having a sale of the work in his studio in support of Tohoku. This is a cash sale with prices ranging from JPY1,000 to JPY100,000.

Australian Wine Raffle and Charity Event for Tohoku

Many Australian winemakers have generously donated wines to help fundraising efforts for Tohoku. A Charity Wine Event will be held at the Westin Hotel on 23rd May. Raffle tickets are also available whether you attend or not. Raffle tickets are JPY1,000 each and ALL of the proceeds go to relief work through World Vision Japan. Looking for a CSR activity in Japan that you and your staff can understand? Then try Fujisawa Beach Cleaning Project.

People of all ages, from Japan and dozens of other countries, come together for a day of education, good deeds, and great fun on the sands of Kugenuma- one hour away from Tokyo.

The Project thrives on this kind of volunteer effort and corporate support.

Our spring cleanup will be on Sunday April 17th. And we invite you to join us! Make a donation to the day, offer sponsored goods or gifts in kind. Bring teams of employees as well as their families.

We are careful to acknowledge all donations and participants, and we welcome new ideas for assistance.
